Dart frogs, tree frogs, and pacman frogs come from a small world of specialist breeders whose animals are healthier and better-started than anything in a chain-store tank. Tell us what you're looking for; we confirm it's available, feeding, and legal to ship to you β then quote the exact total before anything is charged.
Every frog here is captive-bred by a specialist breeder and feeding reliably before it ships β never wild-caught. Care-difficulty labels are honest: a frog labeled Advanced will punish beginner mistakes.
Jewels of the vivarium: thumbnail and standard species, feeding on fruit flies and springtails. Sold as well-started juveniles unless noted.
IntermediateGroup of 2β4 shinesHardy, waxy, and famously personable β the best first frog in the hobby, and genuinely fun to keep.
BeginnerHardyAmbush predators with enormous appetites and zero ambition. Standard, albino, and fantasy morphs when breeders have them.
BeginnerSolitaryThe poster frog of the rainforest. Nocturnal, arboreal, and happiest in a planted, misted enclosure.
IntermediateNocturnalLiving camouflage for a paludarium. Seasonal and slow to source β join the waitlist via the order form.
AdvancedSeasonalBig, bold, blue-blooded tree frogs that do well in groups and tolerate handling better than most.
IntermediateGroup-friendlyWe are a sourcing service, not a warehouse. Live animals shouldn't sit in a box in a warehouse waiting for a buyer.
Typical timeline: confirmation within 1 business day; most breeders ship live orders MondayβWednesday only, so a Friday request usually ships the following Monday. We'll always tell you the ship date before charging you.
Live animals are perishable. Orders ship early in the week (MonβWed) to avoid weekend warehouse stays. During extreme heat or cold, shipments may be held until a safe window β we email you before any hold, and you may cancel for a full refund instead of waiting. "Hold for pickup" at your local carrier hub is available on request and strongly recommended in summer and winter.
If a significant portion of your order arrives dead, email us within 24 hours of the carrier's delivery scan with a clear photo of the shipment as received. We will, at your choice: reship once at no charge, or refund the item price (shipping refunded if the carrier/supplier accepts responsibility for a transit delay). Normal transit stress β a small number of losses in a bulk count β is not DOA; as a working rule, losses above roughly 10% of a counted order qualify. We never ask you to ship dead animals back.
Live goods cannot be returned and restocked β that would be unsafe for the animals and for other customers. Cancellation is free any time before your card is charged (i.e., before you approve the confirmed total). After shipment, the DOA policy above is the remedy. Wrong species or count? That's on us: reship or full refund, your choice.
Most common captive-bred frogs can ship to most states, but some localities restrict amphibians and some species carry permit requirements β and protected native species are never sold here. Our confirmation step checks your state and city rules for your exact species before any charge. Amphibians ship overnight only; that cost is included in your confirmed total, never sprung on you later. [Placeholder: final restriction matrix to be completed before launch.]
Wild dart frogs are toxic; captive-bred dart frogs are not β they don't eat the toxic wild insects that produce the poison. Every dart frog we source is captive-bred and feeding on standard captive diets. We still recommend hand-washing after any amphibian handling, for the frog's sake as much as yours: amphibian skin absorbs oils and salts from human hands, so handling of all frogs should be rare, brief, and with wet, clean hands.
Amphibians are fragile shippers: overnight service, insulated boxes, and phase packs are non-negotiable. That shipping is inside your confirmed total β we'd rather quote it honestly than bury it.
Yes β every supplier on our roster is a breeder, and the confirmation step includes asking what's feeding and how long the animal has been established. Wild-caught amphibians are a welfare and disease problem we won't participate in.
Captive-bred dart frogs are not toxic β the poison comes from their wild diet. See the note in our policies section. Handle all frogs rarely, with wet hands.
Never at request time β only after breeder confirmation and your approval of the exact total. No match at that price? Hold released, you pay nothing.
White's tree frogs and pacman frogs are labeled Beginner for a reason. If a listing says Advanced, believe it β and ask us for a better fit instead.
Prototype form β submitting does not place an order or charge anything. In the live version, this form opens the concierge flow described above.
